I've just came back from another holiday, and  this time it's from a place called Kedah. Kedah is located waaaay up north of Malaysia. (go and look it up if you don't know!) I enjoyed my stay in Terengganu, but this time it was definitely more enjoyable (and not just because it was longer). I didn't take a lot of pictures this time, was too lazy to bring my dslr and my phone had problems. But, I managed a few selfies here and there, and had the chance to use my brand new fish-eye clip lens! /and yes, I will most definitely talk about this more later on

We also went and visited Perlis, where my mum was born. Padang Besar, for those who know it, is the place - I repeat THE place to go if you want to get some good bargains (but you gotta know how to haggle). It literally translates to 'BIG FIELD', and is the border between the Malaysia and Thailand.

Kedah is one of my favourite places in Malaysia to visit, as one of my closest cousins lives there. Like I said, I barely took any pictures apart from some selfies of the wedding and of my cousins - but other than that, my pictures were crap. So I apologise for hurting your eyes.

The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kedah took us around 8 hours, but that was with us deliberately going slow and taking the long route. That couldn't be said the same for the journey back though, since it took us around 11 hours (yes, you heard me right) to get back.

On a happier note, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day to all Malaysian citizens!
Sighs, I know. It isn't the 31st. I wrote this a long way back but only managed to post it now. You may sigh along with me now.
