can anyone guess which song this is from?
YOU CAN GUESS STRAIGHT AWAY (from the title, and the pics below) THAT WHEN IT COMES TO BOOKS, MY FAVES WOULD OFTEN BE IN THE CHICK LIT GENRE.
I mean come on guys, who doesn't like the occasional make-me-feel-good books? They're fun, they're light reads, the perfect escape much needed from our busy lives. I like other books too, but the ones that are with me right now are mostly chick lits. Yeah, it's pretty hard to get cheap books here in Malaysia, whereas in the UK you can find second-handed ones that are like five for a pound. Or if they're really awesome hard-back books and in tip top condition, you'll find like a bunch for a fiver or something. OH HOW I MISS YOU OXFAM. (and charity shops....and carboot sales! sighs)

current read : Petite Anglaise by Catherine Sanderson (might look back on S5 French haha)
Here are the ones that are currently with me, bought some from the BBW sales, and some were brought back by my sister. That's not all I have though (or I really won't be a book lover) - there's plenty more but they're in boxes and I can't get them out just yet because there is no space to put it in this house /sobs.
Don't judge me though - I love other genres too, like adventure or mystery. If I read something, and I think it's good, then I'll buy it. Not all of the story above are great, but I definitely recommend some (especially for those chick lit lovers comme moi).
Newest member to my collection - The Time of my Life by Cecelia Ahern. For those of you who know me well, then you'll know that my favourite author is Cecelia Ahern. Second would be Marian Keyes, followed by Sophie Kinsella, Jojo Moyes (Me Before You is a must read! - I've even written a review on it previously) and I read a bit of Jill Mansel too. This doesn't mean that I don't read novels by other authors though - of course I do! I have a collection of Cecelia Ahern books - but most of them are like I said before...in boxes.
Anyway, this particular book was bought second-handed, through @kittymittypreloved 's instagram. I definitely recommend that you guys go check it out. They sell pre-loved items such as books, clothing for the young and the not-so-young (hehe), and shawls. The price is definitely reasonable, and the delivery is superb. Arrived in 2 days, fully wrapped! Good service overall, so do check them out guys.
I managed to stop myself from reading it straight away, since I had to finish up on "The Mystery of Mercy Close" by Marian Keyes. However, that didn't stop me from finishing the whole book in just three days (haha). Thank you ever so much for telling me about this book, and showing me the insta page. Syukran Jazilan Aisyah! Much loves hehe.

On Petite Anglaise : I, myself, quite love the French. The language itself, and France. So I have pretty much high expectations on this book. It is alright so far, but my interest in the main character is a bit...eh. Oh well. I am only a quarter through. Hopefully it'll be good. Will keep reading on...that's all for now guys! See you soon.
