A footage on our journey to KHIND for the second judging session.
Tadaa! My second post. Which is kind of a big feat for me since I haven't posted for agesssss - even when I promised to. That kind of sucked, but I really didn't have much time to open up and post anything. Anyways, I do hope that you guys are well, and happy.
On to the post! Recently, well I don't know whether to call it recent or not, I guess so. Well recently, I had the opportunity to be chosen as a representative of my club and present our program in front of a company, and to say that it was nerve-wracking is pretty much an understatement. To present in front of a class is one thing, to present in front of a big company is a whole different level.
I know that it sounds exaggerated, but that was exactly how I felt when I found out about it. It might have been a small thing for some people - but it was like a life goal checked for me. Anyways, at first it was a bit hectic with choosing which presentation I wanted to do (since two groups were sent from our club), and the actual planning pretty much made me feel confused - but we don't wanna go into that drama.
Haha, just kidding. not. Moving on, for those who know how I am before presenting anything in front of a class, then you would totally be used to how much I get freaked out by it. Like freaked out almost to the point where I can't sleep, and I get scared that I'll forget all the details. You get me right? I know that memorization is a no-no when it comes to presenting, but you do need a certain degree of memorization before proceeding with a presentation. I don't mean writing a script thing, but you have to know the details inside out, you have to love what you're presenting in order to make others love it. Cringy but true stuff yo'.
That's essentially the difference between a good presentation and a mediocre one. I say all this because I usually end up being the mediocre one. LOL
And because getting picked was like a big deal to me, I felt like I couldn't afford to mess it up. So I did what I thought was best, but wasn't actually the best thing at all.
And...that's all I'm going to say right now. AM I EVIL YET? Hahaha. I'll be continuing this later on, hopefully. Goodnight guys!
